What exactly is a Students Union?
A Students' Union is essentially a student-run organisation dedicated to ensuring fairness, providing opportunities, and giving everyone a voice within the university. It’s led by representatives who are chosen by students, like you and me.
Who runs the Students' Union?
You do! At Hallam SU, we're all about students representing students. We're a student-led organisation that supports, represents, and creates opportunities for everyone at Hallam.
The students that lead the way are Officers who are elected by us (students) every March. They are trustees of the SU, meaning they make real decisions that shape the future of our organisation. They work full-time in the SU and play a key role in making sure the SU improves student life at Hallam.
